NOTE:  This position is for the 2024-2025 school year. The salary will be based on the 2024-2025 salary schedule which is not yet approved by the Board of Education. The salary listed is based on the current year's salary schedule.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with student, parents, supervisor and fellow workers.

 TERM OF EMPLOYMENTS:

6 hours/day; 188 days/year

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist students on and off buses, including moving wheelchairs and other devices as required.
2. Monitor student behavior while on buses to ensure appropriate conduct.
3. Escort students across the street, as needed.
4. Assist driver in an emergency or evacuation.
5. Check bus before and after each route for students and articles.
6. Know the route and give assistance when asked.
7. Be aware of the medical needs of students.
