SALARY: Based on 2024-2025 Administrative Salary Schedule (pending approval of the Board of Education; commensurate with education and experience. Salary listed below is based on 2023-2024 Salary Schedule
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess or is eligible for Missouri Administrative Certification, at the appropriate level for the position
- Minimum five years administrative experience with at least 3 years at appropriate level
- At least five years successful teaching experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Education Specialist Degree
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience with at least 3 years at the appropriate level for the position

- Work with various members of the central administrative staff on problems involving support services, such as transportation and special services.
- Keep supervisor informed of events and activities of an unusual nature as well as routine matters related to the supervisor’s accountability.
- Assume responsibility for the implementation and observance of all Board policies and regulations by the school’s staff and students.
- Maintain active relationships with students and parents.
- Lead in the development, determination of appropriateness, and monitoring of the instructional program.
- Establish guides for proper student conduct and maintaining student discipline.
- Supervise the maintenance of accurate records on the progress and attendance of students.
- Assume responsibility for the attendance, conduct, safety and health of students.
- Supervise all professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and support personnel attached to the school.
- Assist in the recruiting, screening, hiring, training, assigning, and evaluating of the school’s staff.
- Evaluate and counsel all staff members regarding their individual and group performance.
- Conduct meetings of the staff as necessary for the proper functioning of the school.
- Provide for adequate inventories of school property and for the security and accountability for the property.
- Supervise all activities and programs that are outgrowths of the school’s curriculum.
- Supervise and evaluate the school’s extracurricular program.
- Participate in principals’ meetings, negotiations meetings, and such other meetings as are required or appropriate.
- Other related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary and work year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of professional personnel.
